The Žalgiris mead balsam is a beverage which started production 1968, and which we can all be proud of. The strong 75% alcohol content Lithuanian distilled mead was named after the great Battle of Grunwald and is comprised of cranberry juice and herbs, which do not clash but come together in harmony, revealing a very unique flavour.
The Žalgiris balsam is bottled much later than most beverages. This is due to the high number of distillations and because of the natural ripening process.
